Accredited and Reformed
Accredited by the Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries (ARTS) since 2001 and authorized by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Sangre de Cristo Seminary stands in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation and is guided by the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Programs and Learning Formats
Choose from the Master of Divinity, the Diploma in Biblical Studies, or focused certificate programs in Christian Ministry, Old Testament Hebrew, and New Testament Greek.

Can I attend from outside Colorado?
Yes. Live-streamed classes and Competency-Based Theological Education (CBTE) are available to students anywhere.
What is CBTE?
A learning format where students demonstrate mastery through 10–15 core and specialty competencies, working with a seminary-appointed mentor instead of completing fixed coursework.
How large are classes?
Cohorts are kept under 15 students for seminar-style learning with direct faculty access.
